1. Introduction and identification of the operator

Welcome to PlagTV, a platform for live event streaming and content distribution. The service is operated by the legal entity identified in the "Company legal information" section at the top of this page (hereinafter, "we," "PlagTV," or the "Company"). By accessing or using our services, website, and applications, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.

2. Definitions

  • Client: the individual or company that uses the platform to broadcast and monetize events.
  • Viewer: the user who accesses the events broadcast by the Clients.
  • Service: the PlagTV content streaming and distribution platform, including the website and the mobile applications.
  • Payment processors: the external providers that process the charges (Mercado Pago and dLocal), as detailed in section 4.

3. Use of the Service

3.1. Content restrictions

The Client may not use the platform to broadcast content that is:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or that infringes the rights of third parties.
  • Pornographic or involving child exploitation.
  • Inciting hatred, violence, or discrimination.

If unauthorized content is detected, the Client's account may be suspended or blocked without the right to a refund.

3.2. Broadcasting rights

The Client is responsible for ensuring that it holds all the necessary rights to broadcast its content. PlagTV is not liable for disputes over copyright. In the event of a valid third-party claim, we reserve the right to suspend or remove the disputed content and to block accounts with repeated infringements.

4. Payments, processors, and commissions

Payments made by Viewers are processed through external payment processors: Mercado Pago and dLocal. When making or receiving payments, you also accept the terms and privacy policies of these processors, which act as independent controllers of the payment data.

  • PlagTV applies a 10% commission on the sales of paid-access events, and a fixed amount per viewer per hour for free-access events. No fixed plans or monthly fees are charged for broadcasting.
  • The branded mobile application is available as an additional service for USD 50 per month.
  • The PlagTV cost and the payment processors' commissions are deducted before the transfer to the Client.
  • Payments to the Client are made according to the timelines and availability conditions of each payment processor.
  • The Client is responsible for the applicable tax obligations on its income.

5. Mobile applications and app stores

PlagTV offers mobile applications distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play.

  • The use of the applications is subject, in addition to these Terms, to the conditions of each store (including, in the case of Apple, the standard "Licensed Application End User License Agreement").
  • Purchases and subscriptions are made through our external payment processors (Mercado Pago and dLocal); they are not processed as in-app purchases through Apple or Google. The applications allow access to content and events that have already been acquired.
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for the applications or their content, and provide no warranty whatsoever regarding them.
  • By downloading the applications, you agree to comply with the usage rules of the corresponding store.

6. Subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds

  • Clients may offer their Viewers per-event access (pay-per-view), monthly or annual subscriptions, and additional charges for specific tournaments or categories.
  • The Client may cancel its contract with PlagTV at any time; access is maintained until the end of the contracted period.
  • No refunds are made for annual payments in the event of early cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.
  • Refunds to Viewers are at the Client's discretion and are processed according to the policies of the corresponding payment processor.

7. Geographic restrictions

Clients may limit access to their content based on the Viewers' location. PlagTV provides the functionality; the Client is responsible for configuring it in accordance with the broadcasting rights it holds.

8. Service interruptions

We strive to ensure uninterrupted service, but interruptions may occur due to scheduled maintenance, server or network failures, or external factors beyond our control. If a technical failure attributable to PlagTV prevents the broadcast of an event, the Client may receive a discount or credit on its next invoice, and refunds to Viewers will be at the Client's discretion.

9. Intellectual property and copyright

The content broadcast belongs to each Client. The PlagTV brand, software, and platform elements belong to the Company. If a third party believes that its content was used without authorization, it may send a claim to the email address indicated in the Company legal information section, including the identification of the content and evidence of ownership. Once the infringement is verified, we will remove the content, notify the responsible Client, and, in the event of repeated infringements, we may suspend the account.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlagTV shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or the inability to use the Service.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date. Continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the changes.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Montevideo, Uruguay, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by law.
